21、e, When specif-ied in the contract or pur- chase order, a sample shall be subjected to first article inspec- tion (see 4.3 and 6.4). 3,2 Materials. The materials and components shall be certi- fied to conform to the applicable specification and standards as listed on the drawinq packaqe 82A5048A1400
22、 or required herein. The materials used may include reclaimed materials provided such mateeials will not jeopardize its intended use and performance. The reclaimed materials shall have been reprocessed, remanufactured, or recycled in a manner which will restore them to the same chemical composition
23、and physical properties as the materials oriqinally selected for use as specified herein. 3,3 Desiqn, Module Assembly, Storaqe, Dual Shelf, shall be o the desLqn specified on drawinq packaqe 82A5048A1400 (see 2.1.2). 3.4 Construction. Module Assembly, Storaqe, Dual Shelf, shall be of the constructio
24、n and physical dimensions specified- on drawinq packaqe 82A5048A1400 (see 2.1.2). 3.4.1 Frame assembly, The frame assembly shall be fabricated from Anqle, Aluminum Alloy 6061-T6, QQ-A-200/8; Rod, Aluminum Alloy 6061-T6, QQ-A-225/8; Bar, Aluminum Alloy 6061-T-6510, QQ-A-200/8; Aluminum Alloy 6063-T6,
25、 QQ-A-200/9; and shall be square in all directions within .O10 inch per foot (see 4.4.2). All welds shall be in accordance with ANSIIAWS A3.0-85, A2.4-79 and MIL-W-45205, Class i3 (see 4.4.4). The frame assembly shall conform to specifi- cations to such a deqree of accuracy ensurinq it will aliqn to

27、 MIL-M-29439 (MC) a. Junction box subassembly and cover assembly. The junction box subassembly and cover assembly shall be fabricated from Aluminum Alloy 5052-H32, QQ-A-250/8. All welds shall be in accordance with ANSI/AWS A3.0-85, A2.4-79 and MIL-W-45205, Class B (see 4.4.4). Affixedto the front of
28、 the cover assembly shall be six decals made from .O03 thick Aluminum Alloy Foil Photoqraph- ically sensitized adhesive back in accordance with MIL-P-19834, Type I. Letter size shall be .145 inch with a .O62 inch border on all sides, color shall be in accordance with MIL-P-19834, Style III (see 4.4.
29、5). The junction box subassembly shall be securely bolted to the frame assembly in four places and the cover assembly shall be securely attached to the junction box subassembly usinq 15 screws (see 4.4-.6). b. Junction box, electrical. The junction box shall be wired in accordance with NFPA 70-84 Na
30、tional Electrical Code, withoutlets 1J1, 251 and 3J1 supplied throuqh CB1 and outlets 4Jl and 5J1 supplied throuqh CB2 (see 4.4.7). The cable assembly shall have an overall length of- 58.00 inches and shall not have continuity between pins (see 4.4.8). 3.4.3 Shelf assemblies. The shelf shall be in a
31、ccordance with drawinq 82A5048A1131 Screwed to the shelf shall be a bar, lock fabricated from Aluminum Alloy 6061-T6, QQ-A-200/8. The support, shelf shall be fabricated from Aluminum Alloy 60.61-T6, ._ QQ-A-200/8. The slide, drawer, extension (.2.0), shall be made . from Cold Rolled Steel with Briqh
32、t Electro-Zinc Plate. The cha.nne1, sinqle drilled shall be fabricated from Aluminum Alloy 6063-T6, QQ-A-200/9. Screwed to the shelf support shall be a bracket assembly, fabricated from Aluminum Alloy 6061-T6, QQ-A- 200/8, and latch. All welds shall be in accordance with ANSI/AWS A3.0-85, A2.4-79 an
33、d MIL-W-45205, Class B (see 4.4.4). Each drilled sinqle channel, shall be attached to the frame usinq an aliqninq anqle, at both ends. Each slide, drawer, extension (2.0) shall be screwed to the drilled sinqle channel in six places. The shelf support shall be screwed to the slide, drawer, extension
34、(2.0) in four places. The shelf shall be securely attached to the support shelf usinq bolts in 22 places. The shelf assembly shall operate smoothly and freely with no bindinq (see 4.4.9) . . Each shelf assembly shall be capable of beins interchanqed .for.another (see 4.4.10). 3.4.4 Shelf assembly, s
35、tationary. The shelf assembly, tie down, shall be in accordance with drawinu 82A5048A1131. The shelf shali be securely screwed to the frame assembly in 16 places (see 4.4.11). 3.4.5 Strap assembly, tie down. The strap assembly, tie down shall- be fabricated from Strap, Webbinq, MIL-W-4088, Type II,

37、9 (MC) r Fed Spec V-T-295, Type II, Class A, Type B, color Black per- FED-STD-595. consist of Rotatinq End Fittinq; Plate, Threadinq; Hook, Flat; and Fastener, Flat Hook. Attachinq hardware shall be cold Rolled Steel, 300 lbs minimum strenqth with HD Zinc Plate Bronze Chromate Finish. The strap asse
38、mbly shall be fabricated to have a minimum strenqth of 300 lbs (see 4.4.12). Attachinq hardware will 3.4.6 Bracket mountinq. The bracket mountinq, shall be fabricated of Anqle, Aluminum Alloy, 6061-T6, QQ-A-200/8 and shall . be securely bolted to the frame in four places to such a degree o accuracy
39、ensurinq it will aliqn to the footprint as described in Fiuure 1 (see 4.4.13). 3.4.7 Decal. The decal shall be fabricated from ,003 inch thick aluminum alloy foil, photoqraphically sensitized, adhesive back in accordance with MIL-P-19834, Type I. Requirements and methods o markins the decal shall be
40、 in accordance with MIL-STD- 130. Unless otherwise specified all characters shaL1 be .O93 inch high on finished decal, color shall be in acccrdance with MIL-P-19834, Style III (see 4.4.14). 3.5 Finish. 3.5.1 Cleaninq; Prior to painting metal surfaces shall be cleaned and treated per MIL-T-704, Type
41、G, and MEL-C-5541, Class 3, 3.5.2 Primina. After metal surfaces have been cleaned as required they shall be primed per MIL-P-53022, with a minimum dry EiLm thickness of .O01 inch in one coat, 3.5.3 Painting. Final Einish paintinq shall have a minimum dry coat film thickness o .O018 inch in two coats
42、 per MIL-(2-22750, Type II, Color No. 24533 per FED-STD-595 (see 4.4.17). 3.6 pterchanqeability. All parts having the same part number shall be functionallv and dimensionallv interchancreable. Interchanqeable parts are defined as two or mre like parts possessinq such functional and physical characte
43、ristics as to be equivalent in performance and durability, and capable of beinq exchanqed one for the other without alteration of the parts them- selves or adjoininq parts and without selection for fit or performance. 3.7 Workmanship,. The Module Assembly, Storaqe, Dual Shelf shall meet all desiqn,
44、fabrication, assembly and finish requirements of this specification. Particular attention shall be qiven to: removal. of burrs and sharp edqes; accuracy of dimensions; thorouqh- -ness of welding; paintinq; alignment; tiqhtness of screws, bolts, and rivets, Failure to ensure these measures have been
45、taken will- be considered adequate basis for rejection of items beinq of inferior quality for the purpose intended. 46、less otAlerwise speci- fied in the contract or purchase order, the contractor is respon- sible for the performance of all inspection requirements as specified herein. Except as otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the contractor may use his own or any other facilities suitable for
47、the performance of inspection requirements specified herein, unless disapproved by the Government. The Government reserves the riqht to perform any of the inspections set forth in the specification where such inspections are deemed necessary to assure supplies and services conform to prescribed requ
48、irements. 4.1.1 Responsibility for compliance. All items must meet all requirements of section 3 and 5. The inspection set forth in this specification,shall become a part of the contractors overall inspection system or quality proqram. The absence of any inspec- tion requirements -in the specificati
49、on shall not relieve the con- tractor of the responsibility of assurinq that all products or supplies submitted to the Government for acceptance comply with al1 requirements of the contract. Sampling in quality conformance does not authorize submission of.known defective material, either indicated or actual, nor does it commit the Government to accept- ance of defective material. 4 . 1.2 Test equipment and inspection facilities.
