7、ation, 3.3 CoPstruction. - 3.3.1 Cleanness* - Ilie entire interior of the gas-tight compartment and of the eyepiece assdiies shall be free from oil, dust, dirt, and foreign matter of any kind, and free from any lubricant that might in time collect on the surface of any optical part. before being ass

8、embled into the instrument to insure freedom from dust, dirt, misture, fingerprints, and other contamination. Reagents used for cleaning cemented optical components shall not be of a type that would be absorbed into the cement and cause subsequent deterioration of the cement or cause cement starts.

9、Scales shall be clean and legible. Optical components shall be carefully cleaned 3.3.2 Optical cementing, - The cement film binding optical elements together shall be free from foreign particles, bubbles, cement starts, milkiness, and other defects that dght reduce the effectiveness of the rangefind

10、er. Excess cement shall be removed from the exterior of cemented parts; however, no reagent shall be used that could be aboorbed into the cement PU or cauce cement starts. 12、 in lieu of magnesiun fluoride. 3.3.4 Lubrication. - All gearing, sliding mechanisms, bearings, and moving joints shs31 be lubricated with instruuent grease conformimg to Specification MIL-G-15793. and any vapor therefrom. Care shall be taken that the optical parts reniain free of grease 3.3.5 Retic

13、les. - When seen through the eyepieces, the markings of the reticles shall be sharp and clean-cut. intersections of lines or other imperfections visible. indistinct or broken on account of improper filling. percegtible difference in the size, form, or appearance of any of the stereoscopic reference

14、marks in one field and the corresponding marks in the other field. 23、ts, - Preproduction rangefinders (see 4.3.1.1 shaU be subjected to th e environmental tests of 4.5.3.1 through 4.5.3.2.2 and the lot acceptance tests of 4b5.4. tests and meetthe requirements specified herein shell be included in the quantity called for in the contract or order. 4.5.2 Periodic tests.

26、and consequent rejection have been determined and the cause of failure corrected by the con- tractor to the satisfaction of the procuring activity. The contractor shall furnish the procuring activity with a written statement properly endorsed by the Government inspector indicating the reasons for fa
