The TS-3531/ASM test set contains the power cable required to connect to the aircraft interface. The test sets operating power is supplied from the aircraft via this interface. 3.1 Rems des

The TS-3531/ASM Test Set, DL 410AS200, shall consist of the following: 3.6.2.1 Panel assembly. This assembly shall -contain all of the electronics and controls for performing the t

Unless otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the contractor is responsible for the Performance of all inspection requirements as
27、 specified herein. Except as otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the contractor may use his own or any other facilities suitable for the performance of the inspection requi rements specified herein, un1 esc di sapproved by the Government. The Government reserves the right to perfo
28、rm any of the inspections set forth in the specification where such inspections are deemed necessary to assure suppl ies and services conform to prescribed requirements . 4.2 Classification of inspections. The inspection requirements specified herein are classified as follows: a. First article inspe
29、ction (see 4.4) b. Quality conformance inspection (see 4.5) 4.3 Inspection conditions. Unless otherwise specified herein, al 1 inspections shall be performed in accordance with the test conditions specified tn 3.4.10. 4.4 First article inspection. First article inspection shall be made on a test set
30、 representative of the production equipments to be supplied under the contract. First article inspection shall be accomplished under the responsibility of the contractor and shall be conducted in accordance with the approved test procedures (see 4.11 1. Column I of table VI1 1 ists minimum tests req
31、uired for first article inspection. The government inspector and the procuring activity shall be advised when tests are to be conducted so that a representative may be designated to witness or supervise the tests when so desired. Contractors not having adequate facilities to conduct all required tes
32、ts chal I obtain the services of a commercial testing laboratory acceptable to the Government. No first article inspections shall be conducted prior to acceptance of first article test procedure by the procuring activity (see 6.2.2) . 4.4.1 First article test data. The contractor shall make availabl
33、e all data collected in conducting these tests for procuring activity review and acceptance (see 6.2.2). This data including a list of all electrical and electronic parts giving their specified vol tage, and ambient and surface temperatures shall be made available on first production contracts. The
34、ambient and surface temperatures shall be obtained under the extreme high temperature operating condi tion. 4.4.2 Scope of first article tests. First article tests shall include all tests lkted in table VII, column I and any additional tests deemed necessary by the procuring activity to determine th

Approval of first article sample shall be by the prscui*ing activity upon satisfactory completion of all tests listed in table VI column I and the first article test report being made available (see
40、 ie2.2). No production test sets shall be delivered prior to the approval of the first article sample. 4.5 Quality conformance inspection. The contractor shall furnish all sainpl es aiid chal 1 be responsible for accompl i shins the qual i ty conformance lnspectson (see 6.2.2). All inspectiton and t
41、estjng shall be under the mpervi cion of the government inspector. Contractors not having testing 76ricilities satisfactory to the procuring activity shall engage the service of - comercial testing laboratory acceptable to the procuring activity. The mtractor chal 1 prepare test reports showing quan
42、ti tative recul ts for all qnality conformance tests (see 6.2.2). Such reports shall be signed by an authorized representative of the contractor or laboratory, as appl icable. Acceptance or approval of material during the course of manufacture shall not construed as a guarantee of the acceptance of
43、the finished pruduct. Quality conformance inspection shall consist of the following tests: a. Individual Tests (see 4.5.1) b. Sampling Tests (see 4.5.2) c. Reliability Assurance Tests (see 4.5.3) d. Special Tests (see 4.5.4) e. Life Tests (see 4.6) 4.5.1 Individual tests. Each test set submitted for
44、 acceptance shall be subjected to the individual tests. These tests shall be adequate to determine compl lance with the requirements of material, workmanship, operational adequacy and reliability. As a minimum, each test set accepted shall have passed the fol 1 owing tests : a. Examination of Produc

A failure shall be defined as anything which causes malfunctioning of the test set. Only those adjustments will be permitted whic

Vibration Any selected frequency within the range of 20 to 30 cps (excluding resonant points) and a minimum amplitude o
49、f *3gs The test set shall be vibrated (without vibration isolators) for a period of 10 minutes prior to the beginning of the six-hour period of operation.
