1、 TIA-1171 February 2010 Recommended Minimum Performance Standards for cdma2000Ultra Mobile Broadband Access Terminal NOTICE TIA Engineering Standards and Publications are designed to serve the public interest through eliminating misunderstandings between manufacturers and purchasers, facilitating in
2、terchangeability and improvement of products, and assisting the purchaser in selecting and obtaining with minimum delay the proper product for their particular need. The existence of such Standards and Publications shall not in any respect preclude any member or non-member of TIA from manufacturing

Neither shall the existence of such Standards and Publications preclude their voluntary use by Non-TIA members, either domestically or internationally. Standards and Publications are adopted by TIA in accordance with the American

By such action, TIA does not assume any liability to any patent owner, nor does it assume any obligation whatever to parties adopting the Standard or Publication. This Standard does not purport to address all safety problems associated with its use

The 3 purpose of these limits is to provide assurance that compliant access terminals when u

45、tics for access terminals. This Standard shares the purpose of UMBTM 1 by 4 ensuring that an access terminal can obtain service in any system that meets the 5 compatibility requirements of UMB. 6 Compatibility, as used in connection with this Standard and UMB, is understood to mean 7 that any access
46、 terminal is able to open data connections in any UMB system. Conversely, 8 all UMB systems are able to open connections with any access terminal. 9 Test methods are recommended in this document; however, methods other than those 10 recommended may suffice for the same purpose. 11 The performance me
47、trics in this Standard require an access terminal to provide a single 12 antenna connector for testing. Access terminals having multiple antenna, such as for 13 receive diversity, shall provide a single antenna connector for testing. If an access 14 terminal has more than one antenna connector, only
48、 one connector shall be used for 15 testing. Additional requirements specifically for multiple antenna configurations, i.e. 16 receive diversity, are for future study. 17 18 19 1 Ultra Mobile BroadbandTM and UMBTM are trade and service marks owned by the CDMA Development Group (CDG). Connectivity is typically provided at the Link Layer (PPP). 4 2. “Sector” refers to the part of the access network that provides the land-side modem. 5 3. This standard uses the following verbal forms: “Shall” and “shall not” identify 6 requirements to be followed strictly to conform to the standard and from which no 7 deviation is permitted. “Should” and “should not” ind
