9、ss. 10、 EN 2591-B5 3 Preparation of specimens 3.1 Cable length shall be adjusted to suit the measuring equipment. The measurement shall be carried out on a component consistent with the product standard. 3.2 Unless indicated in the technical specification, the following details shall be specified : - minim
11、um and maximum temperatures; - force. 4 Method Each bus or stub shall be tested individually. Specimens shall be attached by an appropriate means so that force may be applied along the longitudinal axis of the connection. The test method shall be such that the only stresses affecting the coupler are
12、 those generated by the axial force. 4.1 Procedure Specimens shall be maintained at each test temperature for 15 min before applying the force. The force shall be applied on the cable without squeezing the coupler case and increased continuously until the specified value in the technical specificati
13、on is reached. The rate of application shall not exceed 45 N/s.
