1、A-A- SO692 11 October 1990 COMMERCIAL ITEM DESCRIPTION OSCILLOGRAPH, PORTABLE The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this Commercial Item Description. Abstract. This Commercial Item Description (CID), decribes a Oscillograph Recorder. This CID is meant as a minimum requirement

2、 for the Oscillograph Recorder in which only those manufacturers that meet or surpass the following requirements are qualified per this CID. 4、een the text of this CID and the references cited herein (except for associated detail specifica- tions, specification sheets or MS standards) the text of this CID shall take precedence. Nothing in this CID, however, shall supersede applicable laws and regulations unless a specific exemption has bee

5、n obtained. a 3. Safety and environmental. The equipment shall meet all safety and environ- mental requirements as specified in MIL-T-28800 for the classification as stated herein. 4. Electrical power sources. The equipment shall operate from nominal commer- cial, military, and shipboard power sourc

6、es of 100, 120, 220, 240 volts ac (+lo%) at line frequencies of 50 Hz to 60 Hz. Power consumption shall not exceed the classification specified herein. . is0 watts. The equipment Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) shall be 2,000 hours. The lower test MTBF shall be 2,000 hours and the upper test MTBF shall be 4,000 hours. 7. Pre

10、-conditioning requirement. Each deliverable equipment shall be capable of being subjected to the environmental screening effects of burn in and thermal cycling, with thermal cycling being accomplished in the sample testing phase. 8. Calibration and maintenance adjustments. The design of the system s

11、hall provide for readily accessible calibration adjustments and maintenance adjust- ments. These adjustments shall be provided by variable value components which are adjustable by the use of simple means. The calibration by substitution of selected components or parts is unacceptable unless specific

12、ally approved. The calibration adjustments, wherever possible, shall be accessible without removal of the instrument case or modules. The calibration interval shall be a period of one year or greater based on an operating time of 2000 hours per year. 9. Performance characteristics. Number of Channel

Products manufactured to metric dimensions will be considered on an equal basis with those manufactured using inch-pound units, provided t

18、hey fall within specified tolerances using conversion tables contained in the latest revision of Federal Standard No 376, and all other requirements of this Commercial Item Description are met. If a product is manufactured to metric dimensions and those dimensions exceed the tolerances specified in

19、the inch/pound units, a request should be made to the contracting officer to determine if the product is acceptable.
