This specification covers the perf ormance requirements, rela- ted quality assurance provisions and packaging data for the assemblies listed in 1.2. 1.2 Assemblies covered, 1.2.1 Panne1 assembly 11834831, The panel assembly provi
3、des for trans- mitting and controlling electrical energy from a 24 volt battery to the image intensifier tube, reticle projector lamp; and panel lamps. Provision is made to transmit current from an alternate 6 volt battery to the image intensifier tube and reticle projector lamp. 1.2.2 Periscope mou

30、31. 3.10.1 Operating electrical s-ervice conditioz. 3.10.1.1 Primary power source. Except as otherwise specified, require- ments of 3.10.2 shall be met when the panel assembly is energized with from 18 vdc to 30 vdc. This voltage shall be from an external power source and shall be applied in positiv
31、e polarity to J1-H with respect to J1-J (symbol designa- tions shown on Drawing F1174843). 3.10.1.2 Emergency primary power source. The requirements of 3.10.2, which are applicable to the emergency primary source, shall be met when the panel assembly is energized with 6.0 vdc. external direct curren

The periscope switch, reticle light intensity, and panel light intensity, shall be manually operable. This requiremen
44、t shall also be met while the panel assembly is thermally stabi- lized at -65 and +150F. 3.11 Periscope mount 11834833. The Periscope Mount 11834833, consisting of Mount Assembly 11834835 and the shield assembly (shown on Drawing F11834833, is hereinafter referred to as “mount“. 3.11.1 Periscope mou

An original line of sight through the periscope shall not deviate mo= than 0.30 mil due to repeated assembling of the periscope to Mount Assembly 11834835. 3.11.2 Periscope insertion and removal. This requirement shall be met with the mount positioned in accordance with 3.7b and
46、 3.712. The mount shall permit insertion and removal of the periscope without restriction, 3.11.3 Operability of controls and wiper mechanism. The requirements of 3.11.3.1 to 3.11.3.3 shall be met: a. At the temperatures specified in 3.3 and while the mount is thermally stabilized at -65O and +150F,

49、om the fully closed to the fully open positions. 3.11.3.3 Handle locking latch. When Latch 10542138 is released while the shield is being raised, the handle shall lock the shield in the fully open position. When the latch is released while the shield is being lowered, the handle shall lock the shield in the fully closed position, 3.11.4 Sealing.
