4、tandardization). It is published for the needs of the European Aerospace Industry. It has been technically approved by the experts of the concerned Domain following member comments. Subsequent to the publication of this Prestandard, the technical content shall not be changed to an extent that interc

5、hangeability is affected, physically or functionally, without wdentification of the standard. After examination and review by users and formal agreement of AECMA-STAN, it will be submitted as a draft European Standard (prEN) to CEN (European Committee for Standardization) for formal vote and transfo

6、rmation to full European Standard (EN). The CEN national members have then to implement the EN at national level by giving the EN the status of a national standard and by withdrawing any national standards conflicting with the EN. 9、4 4 7 a 9 9 9 Page 3 prEN 453001:2005 1 Scope This standard specifies: - the electrical, mechanical, environmental and dimensional characteristics of sealing sleeves used in elements of connection; - the conditions for qualification if the sealing sleeves are not tested during the connector qualific

10、ation, acceptance testing and quality assurance; - the test programme and groups. It is applicable to removable sealing sleeves used in connectors or in other elements of electrical connection. 2 Normative refe re nces The following referenced documents are indispensable for the application of this

13、c Equipment. *) 3 Terms and definitions For the purposes of this document, the terns and definitions given in EN 2591-100 and the following apply. 3.1 sealing sleeve device to prevent the ingress of contaminants and to facilitate the insertion and extraction of the contact 4 Conditions of use and te

14、mperature classes The sealing sleeves specified shall be from one of the classes specified below: - class P: maximum operating temperature 125 OC; - class R: maximum operating temperature 150 OC; - class S: maximum operating temperature 200 OC; - class T: maximum operating temperature 260 OC; - clas

15、s U: maximum operating temperature 350 OC. 33、eral Solderability of contacts with self-contained Not applicable solder and flux Quality assurance shall comply with EN 91 33. 9.2 Conditions for qualification 9.2.1 General The sealing sleeves defined by this standard fom an integral part of the element of connection in which they are fitted. When

34、 a test requires the sealing sleeves to be fitted in the connector, a qualified connection device shall be used. In the event of a defect, qualification approval of the element of connection cannot be disputed. 9.2.2 Sampling and definition of specimens Four sealing sleeves plus one for each test fl

35、uid. 9.2.3 Preparation of specimens The specimens shall be fitted in wired element of connection. The outside diameter of the cables shall be in accordance with the product standard of the sealing sleeve. 9.2.4 Test programme The qualification approval tests are defined in Table 4. Test EN 2591-306

36、is to be perfomed on materials, and is not included in the groups below. If the materials used comply with group 1 of MIL-HDBK-454 requirement 4, test EN 2591-306 shall not be performed. 40、 prevent any damage. A label inserted in the packaging shall state the identification and quantity of sealing sleeves. 13 Storage Storage shall be in a place free from ultraviolet rays. Every five years, an inspection shall be made in accordance with test EN 2591 -101. The date of inspection shall be marked on the new packaging.
