These fittings are intended for nonpres-sure applications, where the selection of the proper size forsanitary, drain, and waste systems allows free air space forgravity drainage.NOTE 1The fittings covered by this standard are special fittingsintended to be used for engineered designed

5、systems and will requirespecial approval by the authority having jurisdiction for use. It is not theintent of this standard to endorse or recommend the use of these fittings forthese special applications.1.2 The EDP/ASA numbers indicated in this section repre-sent a uniform industry code adopted by

6、the American SupplyAssociation (ASA). A group designation prefix, 022, is as-signed to hubless products, followed by the four-digit identi-fication assigned to individual items and a check digit. Thissystem has been instituted to facilitate EDP control throughdistribution channels, and is to be used

7、 universally in orderingand specifying product items. Those items with no EDPnumbers are new, special, or transitory, and will be assignednumbers on subsequent prints of this specification.1.3 This specification covers fittings of the following pat-terns and applies to any other patterns that confor

Themanufacturer shall maintain a record of mechanical tests for aminimum of seven years.5.1.1 Tensile Strength TestThe tensile strength shall be notless than 21 000 psi (145 MPa).5.1.2 Tension test reports shall include

26、 breaking load of testbars, machined diameter of test bars, and calculated tensilestrength. Section 11 provides details of the test bar dimensions.5.1.3 Analysis of castings or test bars after the time ofproduction shall not be used as evidence of compliance to thisspecification.6. Chemical Test for
