1、Designation: A507 12Standard Specification forDrawing Alloy Steel, Sheet and Strip, Hot-Rolled and Cold-Rolled1This standard is issued under the fixed designation A507; the number immediately following the designation indicates the year oforiginal adoption or, in the case of revision, the year of la
2、st revision. A number in parentheses indicates the year of last reapproval. Asuperscript epsilon () indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval. This standard has been approved for use by agencies of the Department of Defense.1. Scope*1.1 This specification covers hot-rolled a
3、nd cold-rolleddrawing alloy-steel sheet and strip. Material of this quality isproduced principally for applications involving severe coldplastic deformation such as deep drawn or severely formedparts. This steel is produced by a closely controlled steel-making practice designed to assure internal so
4、undness, relativeuniformity of chemical composition, and freedom from injuri-ous imperfections.1.2 The material covered by this specification may befurnished in several conditions, heat treatments, surface fin-ishes, and edges, as specified herein, in coils or cut lengths.2.
