Scope*1.1 This specification covers several grades of electrolyticmanganese designated as follows:GradeRegular AIntermediate Hydrogen B

3、Low Hydrogen C4.5 % Nitrogen Bearing D6 % Nitrogen Bearing EWeld Grade Powder F1.2 UnitsThe values stated in either SI units or inch-pound units are to be regarded separately as standard. Thevalues stated in each system may not be exact equivalents;therefore, each system shall be used independently

4、of the other.Combining values from the two systems may result in non-conformance with the standard.1.2.1 This specification is expressed in both inch-poundunits and in SI units (within the text, the SI units are shown inbrackets); however, unless the purchase order or contractspecifies the applicabl

6、3.1 Materials furnished to this specification shall conform tothe requirements of Specification A1025, including any supple-mentary requirements that are indicated in the purchase order.Failure to comply with the general requirements of Specifica-tion A1025 constitutes nonconformance with this speci

7、fication.In case of conflict between the requirements of this specifica-tion and Specification A1025, this specification shall prevail.4. Chemical Requirements4.1 The various grades shall conform to the requirements asto chemical composition specified in Table 1 and Table 2.4.2 The manufacturer shal

8、l furnish an analysis of eachshipment showing the percentage of each element specified inthe applicable table.5. Size5.1 The various grades are available in the sizes listed inTable 3.5.2 The sizes listed in Table 3 are typical as shipped fromthe manufacturers plant. These alloys exhibit varying deg

9、reesof friability; therefore, some attrition may be expected intransit, storage, and handling (see 5.3 and SpecificationA1025).5.3 Friability Ratings:Grades A, B, CGrades D, ENo. 6No. 56. Chemical Analysis6.1 Chemical analysis methods are subject to agreementbetween the purchaser and the supplier.7.

10、 Packaging7.1 Color coding shall be used when shipment is made incontainers. The color coding may be used in lieu of gradedesignation, if agreed upon between the purchaser and themanufacturer.
