Asuperscript epsilon (e) indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval. This standard has been approved for use by agencies of the Department of Defense.1. Scope1.1 This tes

7、nificance and Use4.1 This test method is particularly applicable to nonrigidthermoplastic sheeting or film made by the calender or extru-sion process. The test gives an indication of lot-to-lot unifor-mity as regards to the degree of internal strains introducedduring processing.4.2 The heating mediu

The midpoint of each edge shall be marked for useas a reference point when final measurements are made.7. Conditioning7.1 ConditioningUnless otherwise

16、 required in the appro-priate materials specification or agreed between customer/supplier, condition the test specimens at 23 6 2C (73.4 63.6F) and 50 6 5 % relative humidity for not less than 40 hprior to test, in accordance with ProcedureAof Practice D 618.In case of disagreements, the tolerances

17、shall be 61C(61.8F) and 62 % relative humidity.7.2 Test ConditionsConduct tests in the standard labora-tory atmosphere of 23 6 2C (73.4 6 3.6F) and 50 6 5%relative humidity, unless otherwise specified in the test meth-ods or in this test method. In cases of disagreements, thetolerances shall be 61C

Fasten the papers together with paper clips.NOTE 2The paper should be well dusted, and the specimens shouldnot be restricted

19、 either by the paper or the clips. It is imperative that thespecimens be free to change shape as strains are relieved during theperiod of test.8.2 Place the paper-plastic sandwiches horizontally in theoven at the temperature and for the length of time applicable tothe material being tested. Sandwich
