1、Designation: D 5200 03 (Reapproved 2008)1Standard Test Method forDetermination of Weight Percent Volatile Content of Solvent-Borne Paints in Aerosol Cans1This standard is issued under the fixed designation D 5200; the number immediately following the designation indicates the year oforiginal adoptio

2、n or, in the case of revision, the year of last revision. A number in parentheses indicates the year of last reapproval. Asuperscript epsilon () indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval.1NOTEThe units statement in subsection 1.2 was corrected editorially in November 2008.1

3、. Scope1.1 This test method is for the determination of the weightpercent volatile organic compounds of solvent-borne paints inaerosol cans. It offers a unique way to obtain paint specimensfrom aerosol cans.1.2 The values stated in SI units are to be regarded asstandard. No other units of measuremen

Based on these coeffi-cients, the following criteria should be used for judging theacceptability of results at the 95 % confidence level:8.1.1 RepeatabilityTwo results, each the mean of dupli-cate determinations obtained by the same operator on differentdays, should be considered suspect
