Following the publication of BSEN60081, BSEN60901, BSEN61195 and BSEN61199, this new edition of BS1853-2 has been published to take into account the lamps, included in the previous edition, which are not covered by those European standards. It supersedes BS1853-2:1979 which is wi

General 1.1 Scope This British Standard is applicable to those fluorescent lamps which are used in the United Kingdom and which are not specified in BS EN60081:1994, BS EN60901:1994, BS EN61195:1994 or BSEN61199:1994. The lamp dimensions to be controlled shall be
