It is identical with ISO9242:1988 “Pliers and nippers Construction workers pincers Dimensions

BS3087-10 covers those tools in BS3087:1959 (withdrawn) that were not standardized by ISO because their style and application
8、were exclusive to theUK. The Technical Committee has reviewed the provisions of ISO5744, to which reference is made in the text, and has decided that they are acceptable for use in conjunction with this standard. A related British Standard to ISO5744:1988 is BS3087-4:1988. It is recommended that pli

12、82 Part3:1986 Specification for general requirements (Identical) 1) Marking BS3087-12:1991 on or in relation to a product represents a manufacturers declaration of conformity, i.e.a claim by or on behalf of the manufacturer that the product meets the requirements of the standard. The accuracy of the
13、 claim is therefore solely the responsibility of the person making the claim. Such a declaration is not to be confused with third party certification of conformity, which may also be desirable.BS3087-12:1991 BSI 10-1999 1 1 Scope This International Standard specifies the principal dimensions of cons
14、truction workers pincers and the test values in order to verify their aptitude to function in conformity with ISO5744. The general technical requirements are given in ISO5743. The construction workers pincers illustrated in this International Standard are only examples and are not intended to affect
