18、d atmospheres Definitions The aim of this European Standard is to harmonize the specifications for the ambient conditions in which test methods for footwear and components for footwear will be carried out. 1 Scope This European Standard specifies the general conditioning and testing atmospheres for
19、the evaluation of footwear and footwear component properties. This European Standard defines two standard atmospheres for conditioning and testing of footwear and footwear components. 2 Definitions For the purposes of this standard the following definitions apply: 2.1 atmosphere Ambient conditions d

It is characterized by specified values for one or more of the parameters temperature, relative humidity which are kept within the prescrib

The chosen values and period of time depend on the nature of the sample or test specimen to be tested. 2.4 test atm

It is characterized by specified values for one or more of the parameters temperature, relative humidity and pressure, which are kept within the prescribed tolerances. NOTE. In any other case, the ambient conditions must be explicitly stated in the test report. 4 Standard atmospheres Table 1. Sta

The period of conditioning shall be stated in the relevant specifications for the component. 7 Testing Unless otherwise specified in the relevant European Standard, the test specimens shall be tested
