Thedetonatorstobetestedshallhaveanageofbetweentwoweeksandfourmonthsafterthedateofproduction. 5Apparatus 5.1 forelectricdetonators,apowersourceabletoproduceacontinuouscurrent( i)inaccordancewiththe manufacturersspecificationandwithini s i 2i s ( i s istheseriesfiringcurrentforthety

Connectthedetonatorsorsurfaceconnectorstotheapparatus(see5.4).Fornonelectricdetonatorsorsurface connectors,installtheopticalstartpulsesensorattheshocktube,atadistancespecifiedbythemanufacturer,but atleast1000mmfromtheinitiationpointattheendofth

40、eshocktube(ifnecessaryafterremovingtheend sealing).Insertthedetonatorsorsurfaceconnectorsintheapparatus(see5.5)soastoobtainastoppulsefrom theopticalsensororpressuresensorwhenthebasecharge(secondarycharge)ofthedetonatororsurface connectorisinitiated. Initiatethedetonatorsorsurfaceconnectorsandrecordt
