5、r ScTP patch cable bend radius. This Standard is an adoption of the identically titled ANSI/TIA/EIA (American National Standards Institute/Telecommunications Industry Association/Electronic Industries Alliance) Standard 568-B.1-1-2001 and is the product of the Telecommunications Industry Association

6、 TR-42 Technical Committee, which included a number of Canadian members in order to ensure that Canadian perspectives and requirements were addressed. It is written in SI (metric) units with yard/pound (imperial) units in parentheses. This Standard has been adopted with no technical deviations. Wher

7、e code requirements or regulations necessitate changes from US to Canadian references, they should be made by the user, as follows: (a) Throughout this Standard, replace the term “American” with “Canadian”, as applicable. (b) Throughout this Standard, replace the term “state” with “provincial or ter

8、ritorial”, as applicable. (c) Throughout this Standard, replace “NEC” with “CE Code, Part I” (Canadian Electrical Code), as applicable. In addition, (i) where reference is made to “conduit”, replace it with “conduit/EMT” (electrical metallic tubing) because, in accordance with the Canadian Electrica

9、l Code, Part I, EMT is not considered a type of conduit; and (ii) the definitions of the following terms are to be taken from the Canadian Electrical Code, Part I: “Bonding”, “Ground”, and “Raceway”. (d) Throughout this Standard, where reference is made to “FCC”, replace it with “CRTC” (Canadian Rad

10、io-television and Telecommunications Commission), or “Industry Canada”, as applicable. (e) The following Standard, published by the Canadian Standards Association, is an adoption of a TIA/EIA Standard. The requirements of this CSA Standard take precedence over the TIA/EIA Standard on which it is bas

11、ed; any reference in CSA T568.1-1 to the TIA/EIA Standard is to be replaced by a reference to the equivalent Canadian Standard: T568.1-05, Commercial building telecommunications cabling standard Part 1: General requirements. (f) Throughout this Standard, replace the term “Listed” with “Approved as a

12、pplied to electrical equipment”. This Standard was reviewed for Canadian adoption by the CSA Technical Committee on Telecommunications Wiring Systems, under the jurisdiction of the Strategic Steering Committee on Information and Communications Technology, and has been formally approved by the Techni

25、ble Task Group. The purpose of this addendum, as a result of their research, is to 4 replace sub-clause 10.2.1.3, Minimum patch cable bend radius, of ANSI/TIA/EIA-568-B.1. 5 2 SCOPE 6 This addendum applies to minimum 4-pair unshielded twisted-pair (UTP) and 4-pair screened 7 twisted-pair (ScTP) patc

26、h cable bend radius. 8 3 SUBCLAUSE ADDENDUM 9 10.2.1.3 Minimum patch cable bend radius 10 The minimum inside bend radius, under no load conditions, for 4-pair UTP patch cable shall be 6 mm 11 (0.25 in). The minimum inside bend radius, under no load conditions, for 4-pair ScTP patch cable shall 12 be
