9、0-1: 1972-01, 1983-01, 2010-01 DIN 6930-1:2011-10 4 1 Scope This standard applies to parts produced exclusively by stamping processes (see DIN 9870-1) from flat steel products with a thickness of over 0,1 mm (called “stampings” for the purposes of this standard). Fine blanking processes (see VDI 290
10、6 Part 5) are not covered by this standard. Delivery conditions as specified in this standard apply whenever reference is made to the standard in drawings or associated documents (such as ordering information). If, as an exception, this standard is also applied to parts made from semi-finished produ
11、cts other than flat products, or from materials other than steel, this shall be agreed separately. The following provisions specify general requirements imposed on stampings by the manufacturer and user. Any deviations from these requirements shall be agreed separately. 2 Normative references The fo

18、l tolerances General tolerances are specified in DIN 6930-2. 4.3 Surfaces With the exception of cut surfaces, the surface condition of the stampings shall be the same as that of the plate/sheet used. Deformation-induced phenomena as a result of the forming process, such as light scale, slight drawin
19、g scratches and slight surface unevenness are unavoidable. Stampings are supplied without corrosion protection. If the surface quality is to meet special requirements, these shall be subject to agreement. Such requirements may relate to the surface being: free of grooves; When viewed within the rang
20、e of “clear visibility” (250 mm without a magnifying lens), no grooves shall be visible. descaled; shot-blasted; pickled; oiled; phosphated; primed; coated; galvanized. 4.4 Cut edges Stampings produced by cutting generally have a burr. Where necessary, the depth and direction of burr shall be agreed
21、 (see DIN 9830 for guideline values for burr depths). If a burr is not permitted (e.g. for functional or safety reasons), special agreements entailing additional procedural steps are required. DIN 6930-1:2011-10 6 4.5 Cut surfaces No requirements are stipulated for the finish of cut surfaces. It sho
22、uld be noted, however, that stampings produced by nibbling have a waved surface owing to the nature of the process. For this reason, the use of nibbling should always be subject to agreement between producer and purchaser. 4.6 Deviation from ordered quantities Deviations from the ordered quantities

Drawings that are, by way of exception, prepared by the supplier shall be authoritative if these have been approved by the purchaser. 5.3 Material, as-delivered condition The material (grade) and re

When specifying the as-delivered condition, it shall be borne in mind that, during the forming process, increases in strength may occur that are up to 10 % above the upper strength limit of the initial flat product. For this reas

DIN 6930-1:2011-10 7 5.4 Marking In normal practice, stampings are not usually marked. Marking can, however,
28、be agreed in special cases. 6 Heat treatment In normal industrial practice, stampings are not heat treated after forming, cutting or welding. Heat treatments can, however, be agreed in special cases, such as: stress relieving; soft annealing; normalizing; hardening and tempering. 7 Tools 7.1 Purchas
29、er-tied tools Purchaser-tied tools are tools that are made or procured by the manufacturer of the stampings for the purchaser and at the purchasers expense. The manufacturer of the stampings normally undertakes to maintain, renew and properly store the tools. If a period of three years elapses since
30、 the purchasers last order for stampings made with these tools, the manufacturer of the stampings is not normally bound to keep the tools in his stock any longer. The manufacturer of the stampings shall, however, give the purchaser adequate notice before expiry of this period. 7.2 Tools not tied to
31、a particular purchaser Tools not tied to a particular purchaser are tools for the production of stampings which are not made or procured for a specific purchaser. They are made by and paid for the purchaser himself. He can, therefore, use the tools as he wishes and can modify them or discard them at
32、 his own discretion. 8 Inspection and testing 8.1 General The type and scope of testing and inspection depend on the requirements imposed on the stampings during subsequent processing and in their eventual service. The purchaser alone knows these requirements and shall inform the manufacturer accord

The inspections/tests are divided into two groups. 8.2 Normal inspection and test methods These include checks on the compliance of the stampings with the requirements stated in the order as well as inspection for surface defects and surface cracks in so far as these are visible to the naked

DIN 6930-1:2011-10 8 8.3 Additional inspection and test methods These include tests going beyond the normal inspection and test procedures, in particular hardness tests, magnetic crack detection, ultrasonic testing and other techniques. The type and scope of these tests shall be subject to spec

36、f inspection and testing in accordance with 8.3), the purchaser and manufacturer can agree to provide proof of testing in the form of an inspection document in accordance with DIN EN 10204 (e.g. a “type 3.1 inspection certificate”).
