Amendments This standard differs from DIN 835:1995-02 as follows: a) the standard has been editorially revised; b) the scope of the standard has been rendered more precise; c) values for ds(diameter of unthreaded shank) have been specified (see Table 1 and Figure 1); d) the technical deli
6、very conditions have been updated; e) by analogy with DIN EN ISO 225, symbols b1, b2and x1have been replaced by bm, b and x; f) a further example of designation has been added; g) tolerance class Sn 4 is now included in Table 2; h) the recommendation to give preference to studs complying with DIN 94

Studs of sizes above this range cannot be manufactured with a length b as specified in the table. In such cases, thread length b shal
21、l be approximately equal to l (x + 3 mm). For sizes above the dashed line, b + x 1,2 bm. To distinguish between the two ends, the nut end of these studs shall be rounded (i.e. given an RN type thread end) as in DIN EN ISO 4753, unless its end face is already marked with the property class. 4 Technic
