The date of applicability of EN 14509:2013as a “harmonized” European Standard, i.e. the date after which thisStandard may be used for CE marking purposes, is subject to an announcement in the Official Journal of the European Communities.EN 14509:2013 is the
4、subject of transitional arrangements agreed underthe European Commission mandate. The Member States have agreed anominal transition period of twelve months for the co-existence of EN14509:2013 and its corresponding national standard(s).
