3、26 8 National foreword This British Standard is the official English language version of EN 60335-2-64:2000, including amendment A1:2002. It was derived by CENELEC from IEC 60335-2-64:1997, including amendment 1:2000. It supersedes BS EN 60335-2-64:1994 which will be withdrawn on 01-10-2002. The CEN

4、ELEC common modifications have been implemented at the appropriate places in the text. The start and finish of each common modification is indicated in the text by tags . 19、dment A1 The text of document 61E/333/FDIS, future amendment 1 to IEC 60335-2-64:1997 prepared by SC 61E of the IEC Technical Committee 61, was submitted to the IEC-CENELEC parallel vote in October 1999 but was not ratified. The subject was discussed during the Delft meeting of CENELEC TC 61 in May

20、2001, when it was decided to submit a new draft to the formal vote (2MV). The draft was circulated in October 2001 and was approved by CENELEC as amendment A1 to EN 60335-2-64:2000 on 2002-03-01. The following dates were fixed: - latest date by which the amendment has to be implemented at national l

21、evel by publication of an identical national standard or by endorsement (dop) 2003-03-01 - date on which national standards conflicting with the amendment have to be withdrawn (dow) 2005-03-01 This amendment supplements or modifies the corresponding clauses of EN 60335-2-64:2000. As a consequence of

22、 endorsing amendment 1:2000 to IEC 60335-2-64, the common modifications in EN 60335-2-64:2000 concerning clause 21, subclauses 22.Z101 and 22.Z102 are withdrawn. 28、en machines 1 Scope This clause of part 1 is replaced by: This standard deals with the safety of electrically operated commercial kitchen machines not intended for household use, their rated voltage being not more than 250 V for single phase appliances connected between one phase and neutral, and 48

29、0 V for other appliances. This standard also deals with hygiene and acoustical noise (see annex ZAA). NOTE 1 Examples of kitchen machines are listed in annex ZAA. NOTE 2 hese appliances are used, for example, in kitchens such as in restaurants, canteens, hospitals and commercial enterprises such as

30、bakeries, butchers, etc. This standard also applies to appliances which, in order to facilitate transport, are supplied in several parts (subassemblies) which, when assembled at the place of installation, form a constructional unit without the use of any additional parts. 31、on is drawn to the fact that for appliances intended to be used in vehicles or on board ships or aircraft, additional requirements may be necessary; for appliances intended to be used in tropical countries, special requirements may be necessary; in many countries, additional requirements are specifi

32、ed by the national health authorities, the national authorities responsible for the protection of labour, the national water supply authorities and similar authorities. This standard does not apply to appliances designed exclusively for industrial purposes; appliances intended to be used in location

33、s where special conditions prevail, such as the presence of a corrosive or explosive atmosphere (dust, vapour or gas); continuous process appliances for the mass production of food; independent conveying equipment, such as food distribution belts. 34、rt 1 is applicable except as follows: 2.2.4 Addition: NOTE The rated power input is the sum of the power inputs of all the individual elements in the appliance which can be on at one time; where there are several such combinations possible, that giving the highest power input is used in determining

35、the rated power input. 2.2.9 Replacement: normal operation: Operation of the appliance under the following conditions: The appliance is operated without load at rated voltage and with controls intended to be adjusted by the user set at maximum until steady conditions are established. The appliance i

36、s then loaded in appropriate steps, the supply voltage being maintained at its original value. For each step, steady conditions have to be established before increasing the load. This operation is repeated until just before an overload release operates, or until the steady condition with the highest

37、 temperature has been attained. NOTE 1 The load may be achieved by using an electrical or mechanical brake. Where it is not possible or is impractical to apply effectively an electrical or mechanical brake, the load is 115 % of the input measured when the appliance is operated without load at rated

38、voltage and normal operating temperature, and with controls intended to be adjusted by the user set at maximum. NOTE 2 Examples of such appliances are: liquid blenders; slicers; peelers; coffee grinders; machines used for washing and/or drying food; portioning machines. 2.2.101 indicated level: A ma

39、rk on the appliance to indicate the maximum liquid level for correct operation. 2.2.102 installation wall: A special fixed construction containing supply facilities for appliances installed in conjunction with it. 2.2.103 guard plate: Plate similar to a slice thickness plate, fitted to machines with

Page7 EN60335264:20004 General conditions for the tests This clause of part 1 is applicable except as follows: 4.6 Addition: Unless otherwise specified, speed controls are set in accordance with the i

41、nstructions for use. 4.10 Addition: Appliances intended for installation in a bank of other appliances and appliances intended to be fixed to an installation wall are enclosed to obtain protection against electric shock and harmful ingress of water equivalent to that when installed in accordance wit

42、h the instructions provided with the appliance. NOTE Appropriate enclosures or additional appliances may be needed for test purposes. 4.101 Appliances are tested as motor-operated appliances, even if they incorporate a heating element. 4.102 Appliances, when assembled in combination with or incorpor

43、ating other appliances, are tested in accordance with the requirements of this standard. The other appliances are operated simultaneously in accordance with the requirements of the relevant standards. If a part of the appliance or the whole appliance is intended to be used for different functions co

44、vered by different standards, the relevant standard is applied to each function separately, so far as is reasonable. 5 Void 6 Classification This clause of part 1 is applicable except as follows: 6.1 Replacement: Hand-held appliances shall be of class II or class III with respect to protection again

45、st electric shock. Other appliances shall be of class I, class II or class III with respect to protection against electric shock. Compliance is checked by inspection and by the relevant tests. 6.2 Replace the requirement paragraph with the following: Appliances shall be at least IPX1 with respect to

46、 protection against harmful ingress of water. Text deleted 7 Marking and instructions This clause of part 1 is applicable except as follows: 7.1 Addition: If the appliance is marked with rated “on“ and “off“ periods, the marking shall correspond to normal use. The marking of the “on“ period shall pr

47、ecede the marking of the “off“ period, both markings being separated by an oblique stroke. If the reversal of a motor could cause a hazard, then the direction of rotation should be clearly and visibly indicated on the motor, if the direction of rotation depends on the way the motor is connected to the supply. 7.6 Addition: Add the following symbol: . equ
