21、 METHODS OF MEASURING AND SPECIFYING THE PERFORMANCE - Part 2: FM radio tuners 1 General 1.1 Scope This part of IEC 61305 applies to household high-fidelity radio tuner units with facilities for reception of frequency modulation sound broadcasts with a rated maximum system deviation of 175 kHz, usin
22、g the pilot-tone system for stereophonic broadcasting (see ITU-R BS.450-2). It may be applied to systems using a rated maximum system deviation of 150 kHz by decreasing all the stated deviations in proportion. It also applies, except where stated, to equipment having multiple functions, including th
23、ese facilities. 28、ectrical conditions Except where stated, the electrical conditions shall be those specified in IEC 60315-1 and IEC 60315-4, and measurements shall be made at a radio-frequency input level of 70 dB (fW), equivalent to an e.m.f. source of 1,7 mV in a 75 f2 system. Measurements of output shall be made
29、at the main output terminals of the equipment, and the terminals used shall be stated with the results. If an output level control is provided (other than as a factory preset), it shall be set at a fixed position, stated with the results, within the range of settings to be expected in use. 1.3.2 Cli
30、matic conditions See 2.2 of part 1. 1.4 Reference audio-frequency output levei Except where stated, the O dB reference level for all a.f. output voltage measurements expressed in decibels shall be the a.f. output voltage produced by an r.f. input signal level of 70 dB (fW), modulated at 1 kHz with 1
31、67,5 kHz deviation; for a stereo signal the channels are modulated in phase. 2 Methods of measurement CHARACTERISTIC TO BE SPECIFIED 2.1 Noise-limited sensitivity at 50 dB signal- to-noise ratio, expressed as the input signal level in dB (fW). 2.2 Effective frequency range expressed as the range ove
32、r which the response does not vary by more than 11,5 dB from the level at 1 kHz (see 1.4). 2.3 Interchannel gain difference expressed as the maximum difference in level of the right channel output with respect to that of the left channel output, in decibels, over the frequency range 250 Hz to 6,3 kH
33、z. 2.4 Total harmonic distortion The published specification shall be valid under all of the conditions: at any supply voltage within 110 70 of the rated voltage; at any deviation between 16,75 kHz and 167,5 kHz; at any r.f. input signal level between 90dB (fw) and the level determined according to
34、2.1 above; at a modulation frequency of 5 kHz and 16,75 kHz deviation; at a modulation frequency of 40 Hz and 167,5 kHz deviation. METHOD OF MEASUREMENT According to 2.3 of IEC 60315-4, using the wide-band filter specified there and a true r.m.s. meter, with receiver in stereo mode. According to IEC

However, broadcasting administrations in some countries may adopt systems which are not those generally used in that region. After tuning the equipment and n
47、oting the a.f. output voltage, the modulation shall be removed and the signal level set to 30 dB (fW). The frequency difference between the wanted and unwanted signals shall be X kHz (see above) and the unwanted signal shall be modulated at 1 kHz with *Y kHz (see above) deviation. The level of the u
48、nwanted signal is then adjusted until the a.f. output level is 20 dB below that first measured. NOTE - Attention is drawn to ITU-R BS.412-7, 85.450-2, BS.641 and BS.704, accepted unanimously by the member administrations. Although the measurement conditions specified in this standard vary with ITU r
