16、he present document, the following definitions apply: 3.1 Definitions related to conformance testing abstract test case: Refer to ISO/IEC 9646-1 131. Abstract Test Suite (ATS): Refer to ISOAEC 9646-1 3. active test: A test case where the IUT is required to send a particular message, but not in react

17、ion to a received message. This would usually involve the use of PIXIT information to see how this message can be generated and quite often is specified in an ATS using an implicit send event. Implementation Under Test (IUT): Refer to ISO/IEC 9646- 1 3. implicit send event: Refer to ISO/EC 9646-3 15

29、a TP is defined. 6.1.1 TP naming convention The TPs are numbered, starting at 001, within each group. Groups are organized according to the TSS. 35、e generated as a result of an analysis of the base standard and the PICS specification EN 300 052-2 121. The criteria applied include the following: - - only the requirements from the point of view of the T or coincident S and T reference point are considered; whether or not a test case can be built

36、 from the TP is not considered. ETSI 9 6.1.5 Test of call states EN 300 052-5 V1.2.4 (1 998-06) Many TPs include a reference to the IUTs final call state after the realization of the TP. In these cases the TP includes the requirement to ensure that the IUT has entered this particular final call stat

37、e. Ensuring that the IUT is in a particular call state shall be realized by following the procedures described in subclause 5.8.10 of EN 300 403-1 7. According to these procedures, the IUT on receipt of a STATUS ENQUIRY message, shail respond with a STATUS message indicating, in the third octet of t

38、he Call state information element, the current call state of the IUT. This exchange of messages is not mentioned explicitly in each TP but is considered to be implicit in the reference to the final call state. This way of phrasing the TPs has been used to avoid over-complicating the text and structu

39、re of the TPs and to improve the readability. 6.2 Network TPs for MSN Ali PICS items referred to in this subclause are as specified in EN 300 052-2 2 unless indicated otherwise by another numbered reference. 6.2.1 Called user interface MSN-Nol-001 subclause 9.2.1 optional Ensure that the IUT in the

46、s with this TSS b) use a TSS which is an appropriate subset of the whole of the TSS specified in clause 5; c) use the same naming conventions for the test groups and test cases; d) maintain the relationship specified in clause 6 between the test groups and TPs and the entries in the PICS proforma to

47、 be used for test case deselection; e) comply with ISOfiEC 9646-2 141. In the case of a) orb) above, a subset shall be used only where a particular Abstract Test Method (ATM) makes some TPs untestable. All testable TPs from clause 6 shall be included in a compliant ATS. 8 Requirements for a comprehe

48、nsive testing service As a minimum the Remote test method, as specified in ISOIiEC 9646-2 4, shall be used by any organization claiming to provide a comprehensive testing service for network equipment claiming conformance to EN 300 052-1 i.
