SCOPE The material defined by this specification is a flexible heat treated glass fiber sleeving using type “E“ glass composition with a crosslinked polymeric coating added to prevent fraying.
3、 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for material used in high temperature areas such as in the insulator sleeving for the thermostatic choke control tube and EGR tube. 3. REQUIREMENTS Material specification requirements are to be used for initial qualification of materials. 3.

For shorter periods, resists higher temperatures up to 760 C. Color retention good up to 150 C.
