SCOPE The materials defined by these specifications are random velour, needled, nonwove

3、n carpets of good quality and uniform composition. The carpet face is made with 100% post industrial/ post consumer fiber. 2. APPLICATION A3 - This specification was released originally for unmolded floor carpet applications on Transit as part of the GCBP strategy. A4 - This specification was releas

4、ed originally for molded floor carpet applications on Transit as part of the GCBP strategy. 3. REQUIREMENTS In addition to the requirements listed herein, the end-item floor carpet shall be tested to WSS-M8P16-B and any additional SDS requirements. The details for each of the suppliers specific cons

5、truction shall be documented in the supplement attached and uploaded into the FMD (Ford Materials Database) or scanned data package. 3.1 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (W

6、SS-M99P1111-A). 3.1.1 Vehicle Interior Environment Quality Materials/Component Performance Requirements Materials used in interior applications must meet the requirements outlined in WSS-M99P2222-D1/latest. Test data must to be provided by the Tier 1 at the appropriate program milestone. 3.1.2 Recyc

7、led Content This specification must contain 100% recycled content as defined by WRS- M99P42-A2. 3.2 SAMPLE SELECTION All evaluations shall be conducted on test specimens taken from finished assemblies.
