SCOPE The material defined by this specification is a pure mineral oil product of homogeneous character containing refined wax. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for a soft gel anti-corrosion agent used for c

3、oating battery terminals. It is also used as an adhesive agent for assembly purposes and for special applications where specified. 2.1 LIMITATIONS These materials have low melting points and are not suitable for operational or environmental temperatures above 40C. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.1 STANDARD REQUIR

4、EMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements for Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.2 COLOR Translucent, (Visual) Pale Yellow/Amber 3.3 DROP MELTING POINT 43C min (ISO 2207, ASTM D127) 4. GENERAL INFORMATION This infor

5、mation given below is provided for clarification and assistance in meeting the requirements of this specification. Grease approved to this specification should have the following typical properties. Contact for questions concerning Engineering Material Specifications. 4.1 COMPOSITION 4.1.1 Base oil

Grease must be tested for chemical attack to painted surfaces for applications that come in contact with paint surfaces, ex. E-coat and powder coat. 4.7.2 R

9、esistance to Stress Cracking (FLTM BO 127-03) Note: Not tested for initial application of this grease. Grease must be tested for resistance to stress cracking when used for additional applications that come in contact with polymers such as PC, ABS, PC+ABS, ASA or acrylic 4.7.3 Elastomer Compatibilit
