SCOPE The material defined by this specification is an aluminum foil coated on one side with pressure sensitive adhesive and protected by release paper. 2. APPLICATION This sp
3、ecification was released originally for fastening electrical cable harness to painted panel within the car interior. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (W
4、SS-M99P1111-A). 3.4 COLOR Aluminum 3.5 THICKNESS 0.2 - 0.3 mm (Foil and adhesive film) 3.6 DIMENSIONS As specified on Engineering Drawing 3.7 TENSILE STRENGTH, min 8 N/mm width (ASTM D 1000, rate of pull 300 mm/min.) 3.8 ADHESION Test Method: Apply material as shown in Fig. 1 to painted panel prepar
5、ed in accordance with FLTM BI 103-02, Method C and firmly press down by hand. Condition for 24 hours at 23 +/- 2 C and 50 +/- 5% relative humidity prior testing. Suspend panel in inverted position and load with 2.5 N and test for adhesion as described below. 3.8.1 As received No loss of (24 h at 23

Condition test specimens for 24 h at 23 +/- 2 C and 50 +/- 5% relative humidity prior testing. Determine

12、test assembly per clause 3.8 with a 2.5 N load and vibrate for 2.5 hours at an amplitude of 0.15 mm and frequency of 10 Hz. Increase the frequency every 0.5 hour by 10 Hz. 3.13 FUNCTIONAL APPROVAL Materials being evaluated for approval to this specification shall be subjected to a production trial.
13、Functional trial results must be approved by the affected assembly operation and Design Engineering. Results shall be made available to Materials Engineering prior to material approval and release. 5. GENERAL INFORMATION The information given below is provided for clarification and assistance in mee
