SCOPE The materials defined by these specifications are bulked continuous filament (BCF) nylon, cut pile carpets, tufted into a synthetic primary foundation. It is then laminated with a filled, post industrial thermoplastic to a syn
3、thetic backing for improved rigidity and strength. This carpet is solution dyed. 2. APPLICATION This material was released originally for carpets used for trim applications. 3. REQUIREMENTS In addition to the requirements listed herein, the end-item carpet assembly (molded or otherwise fabricated) s
4、hall meet all requirements of the WSS-M8P16-A performance specification for trim applications. 3.1 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.2 SAMPLE SELECTION A
5、ll evaluations shall be conducted on test specimens taken from finished roll goods prior to any subsequent operations, such as reheating or molding. 3.3 APPEARANCE (FLTM BI 109-01) The color, pattern, and finish shall match the approved Design Center master sample, or shall be as specified on the en

The back coat shall be thoroughly melted and shall maintain its ability to lock in the pile fibers in t
9、he end-item, molded carpet assembly. The back coat shall thoroughly saturate the base of the pile fiber bundles to ensure adequate tuft lock. Penetration of the back coat through to the face shall be controlled to provide the required resistance to abrasion and fiber loss, but precoat shall not be v
