3、edures of the rear console to enhance efficiency and reliability of test works. 2. SCOPE This standard applies to the rear console for passenger cars. 4、ull-Gauge 4. TEST SAMPLE PREPARATION 4.1. test sample Number Three finished products shall be provided for engineering approval. 4.2. Requirements of test sample The test sample shall exhibit no defects in visual inspection. 5. TEST PROCEDURES AND REQUIREMENTS All requirements of the following test
5、shall be met. 5.1. Preparation for test 5.1.1. Mount the rear console assembly to the jig in the vehicle condition. 5.1.2. Prior to test, operate the sample 10 times 5.2. Operating effort 5.2.1. Open effort of handle A-lid/tray console, RR (1) Test method 1) Measure the open effort of the handle A-l
6、id/tray console, RR with a push-pull gauge. 2) Unless specified otherwise, the load shall be applied vertically to the tip of the handle. Vertical strength test of height adjuster (1) Test method 1) Operate the height adjuster to position the console lid to the top end. 2)
9、 Set the D 100mm load model around the center of the lid. 3) Using the UTM (universal test machine), apply a vertical downward load of 60kgf. (2) Requirements: After completion of the test, the sample shall show no signs of harmful defects in use, such as damage, abnormal noise and deformation. 5.3.

CODING SYSTEM This specification shall be specified in drawings or specifications as follows: “The parts must comply with EDS-T-4104.” Additional requirements other than those in this standard shall be indicated in drawings and shall prevail over this standard.
