SCOPE 1.1 ScoDe. This commercial item description c
3、overs garden rakes suitable for raking and smoothing soil, and lawn rakes suitable for raking grass clippings and leaves from lawns. 2. CLASSIFICATION 2.1 Classification. The rakes shall be of the following types, classes, composition, and sizes as specified (see 7.2) : Type I - Garden Rake Class A

The type I garden rake shall be designed for raking and smoothing soil. 3.2.1 Class A. Bo w. The head and bow sha
5、ll be forged in one piece from steel. The bow shall be of circular cross-section. The head design shall be similar to figure 1. with using the top of thehead for leveling soil. contain 14 to 16 teeth and be a minimum of 13-1/2 inches (34.3 cm) in width. The head shall have a minimum depth of 2-3/4 i

The type II, composition S (steel tines) rakes shall have flexible heads consisting of strips of flat spring steel with the bent end forming the head and tines, a handle, and a ferrule or socket suitable for securi
