SCOPE. Th
3、is commercial item description (CID) coversGovernment requirements for flexible corrugated carbon steel andcorrosion resisting steel bulk hose without couplings forinternal combustion engine air intake and exhaust applications.2. CLASSIFICATION.2.1 Construction. Hoses shall be classified in two type
4、sdependent upon material:Type I - Cold rolled carbon steel.Type II - Corrosion resisting steel (CRES) grade 316L.3. SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS3.1 Construction. Hose shall consist of a helical or annularcorrugated pressure carrier. The pressure carrier shall be closepitch, one ply construction. Corrugat
5、ion shall be formed from acontinuous strip or from welded strips.3.2 Sizes and dimensions. Sizes and dimensions shall be asshown in table I.3.3 Operating pressure. Hose shall withstand the operatingpressure specified in table I while bent to the minimum specifiedbend radius without leaking.Provided
