At each pressureincrement, time shall not be considered inor leakagenoted until thebeginning of the third minute. The letie rate, ss noted during the last3 minutes of each pressure increment, shall be recorde
15、d. The pressure atwhich the leakage rate through the valve amounts to 4.0 cc (approximately80drops) per minute shall be considered as cracking pressure. Cracking pressurefor line filters shall occur at SO 5 psi. Leakage up to 40 psi shallnot exceed 2.0 cc (approxftely 40 drops) Fer minute, Pressure
16、shall beincreaseduntil race flow through the filter is obtained. Rated flow shalloccur at a pressure differentialbetween Inlet and outlet ports not excaeding80 psi. Pressure shall be reduced in 5 psi decrements,as above. Thepressureat which the leakage rate through the valve does not exceed 2.0 cc(a
17、pproximately40 drops) per minute shall be consideredreseatingpr=sure,and shall be not less than 32 psi.“4.5.7.1.2 Quality conformance.“(a) Line type filter housings shall be tested for relief valveoperation. By means of a71 power driven pump, pressureshallbe a71pplied to the inlet port of the filter

Ateach pressure increment, the pressureshall be maintainedconstant for 3 minutes acept that, for the first Lncranent,adequate time shallbe allowed to permit all cavities tofillwith fluid a71md steady state conditions to be obtained.“(b) The pressure at the inlet port shall initiallybe raisa
19、dto 45 psi. If steady state leakage through the reliefvalve is less than 2.0 cc (approximately40 drops) perminute, the test shall be continuedwith item (d),“(c) If leakage is between 2.0 cc (approximately40 drox) and4.0 cc (approximately80 drops) per minute, the inletpressureshall be dropped below 3
