12、ing aid as shown on the *swings of 2.1 shall be a kit consisting of components and accessories mounted in a carrying case. A radio frequency (ri) power supply is included in order to demonstrate electrostatic ionization. 3.2.1 Interchangeability.- Au. parts, subassemblies and assemblieis having the

13、same part number shall be dfrectly and cwpletely interchange- able with each other in respect to installation and perfomnaace, regard- less of sources from which obtained, without crlterat-ion and without selection for fit or performance. 3.2.2 Cafety.- 3.2.2.1 Grounding.- The training aid Sbui be e

21、 with particular atterition given to neatness and thoroughness of soldering, wiring, impregnation of coils, -king of parts and assemblies, plating, sanding, grinding, painting, riveting, machinemscrew assemblage, welding. and brazing. QUALITY ASSURANCE PRaVSIONS 4.1 Responsibility I_ for inspection, - Unless otherwise specified in the contract or pmcase order, the supplier is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements 8;s specified herein. Except as otherwise specified, the supplier may utilize his ow

24、n facilities or any commercial laboratory acceptable to the Government. to perform any of the inspections set forth in the specification where such inspections are deemed necessary to assure supplies and services conform to prescribed requirements. The Government reserves the right 4.2 Classificatio

25、n of inspection.- Inspections to be performed are classified as follows: (a) in-process inspection (b) Quality conformance inspection. 4.3 In-process inspection.- In-process inspection shall include such visual, electrical, and mechanical examinations and testing of materials, subassemblies, parts,

26、and accessories finciM?kng purchased standard items) during the manufacturing process as may be necessaryto assure conformance to all the requirements specified herein. 4 4 Quaiity conformance inspection. - 4.4, Preproduction inspection. - Preproduction inspection shall be conducted on the preproduc

27、tion sample and shall consist of all the examina- tions and tests specified herein. 4.4.2 Production inspection.- Production units shall be inspected to the extent necessary to maintain quality control and conformance to the Government-accepted preproduction sample. 8.5 Examinations.- Examinations s

30、eservation and packaging shall be Level A or C (see 6.2), 5.1 Leve1.A.- For level A, each training aid shall be preserve8 and packaged for mechanical and g&aical.gfiOtection in accordance with Specification MIL-P-, Method III. 5.1.1.1 Unit packaging.- Each training aid shall be packaged one unit to

31、a container conforming te Specifications PPP-B-636 5.1.2 Level C.- For level C, preservation and packaging shall conform to manufacturers commercial practice. 5.2 Packing.- Packing shaU be level A or C (see 6.2) 5.2.1 Level A,- Units packaged in accordance with 5.1.1 shall be packed in exterior cont

32、ainers conforming tk-cifications PPP-B-621 or PPP-B-601, Unless otherwise specified by the procuring activity (see 6.2), the gross weight for overseas shipments shall hot-exceed the weight limitations of the shipping container. Each exterior shipping container shall be lined with a waterproof moistu

33、re barrier sealed with adhesive & tape water resistance in accordance with Specification MIL-L-10547. liner shall not be required where the packages and package dunnage have been3reated to resist water.
