6、on, ) 3, RXJJIRfMENTS 3.1 Components.- The complete tester ah811 consist of R driving motor, a variable speed transmission, a stroboscopic speed synchronizing device, a tachometer drive shaft housing, and an indicator panel. in one unit. 3,2 Materials,- Materials shall conform to the applicable spec

7、ifications as specified herein, Materials which are not covered by applicable specifications, or which are not specifically described herein, shall be of the best quality, of the lightest practicable weight, suitable for the purpose intended. Component parts of two or more testers shall not be house

8、d 3.3 Electronic Equipment.- All electronic equipment used in the construction of the tester shall conform to the requirements of Specification MIL-E-5400. 3.4 Standard Parts.- AN or MS parts shall be used wherever they are suitable for the Commercial utility purpose, and shall be identified on the

9、drawing by their part numbers. parts such as screas, bolts, nuts, cotter pins, etc. may be used provided they possess suitable properties and are replaceable by the .AN or parts without alteration and provided the corresponding AN or bis part numbers are referenced in the parts list and, if practica

10、ble, on contractors draxings. on the date of invitation for bids, the commercial. parts may be used provided they conform to all requirements of this specification. 3.5 Design and Construction,- In case there is no suitable Corresponding AN or MS parts in effect The component parts of the engine tac

17、 300 to 5000 RPM, The strobscope shall provide two different pattorns, one which vil1 appear stationary at the even 100 RPM settings and the other dich xi11 appear stationary at the odd hundreds. The stroboscope shall be located near the speed control wheel for convenient observation. The stroboscop

18、e lamp shall be mounted so that it can be observed directly through a perforated opaque drum. The drum shall be mounted on the drive shaft as shom in Figure 1.
