REVISION SYMBOLS IDENTIFYING CHANGES FROM THE PREVIOUS EDITION Text revisions are shaded. A before a section number indicates that

12、words within that section were deleted and a to the left of a table or figure number indicates a revision to an existing table or figure. When a chapter was heavily revised, the entire chapter is marked throughout with the symbol. Where one or more sections were deleted, a is placed between the rema

13、ining sections. Chapters, annexes, sections, figures, and tables that are new are indicated with an N . Note that these indicators are a guide. 18、rds A statement, written or oral, that is not processed in accordance with Section 6 of the Regulations Governing the Development of NFPA Standards shall not be considered the ofcial position of NFPA or any of its Committees and shall not be considered to be, nor be relied upon as, a Formal Interpre

19、tation. Patents The NFPA does not take any position with respect to the validity of any patent rights referenced in, related to, or asserted in connection with an NFPA Standard. The users of NFPA Standards bear the sole responsibility for determining the validity of any such patent rights, as well a

20、s the risk of infringement of such rights, and the NFPA disclaims liability for the infringement of any patent resulting from the use of or reliance on NFPA Standards. 32、Code, was prepared by the Technical Committees on Electrical Systems, Fundamentals, Health Care Emergency Management and Security, Hyperbaric and Hypobaric Facilities, Mechanical Systems, Medical Equipment, and Piping Systems, released by the Correlating Committee on Health Care Facilities, and acte

33、d on by NFPA at its June Association Technical Meeting held June 47, 2017, in Boston, MA. It was issued by the Standards Council on August 17, 2017, with an effective date of September 6, 2017, and supersedes all previous editions. This document has been amended by one or more Tentative Interim Amen

34、dments (TIAs) and/or Errata. See “Codes Plumbing; Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning; Security Management; and Features of Fire Protection. Many of these systems were not previously addressed by NFPA 99. These are important systems and protection features in health care and needed to be addressed. The Technical Committees on Gas Delivery Equipment and the Technical Committee on Electrical Equipment were combined into a single Technical Committee on Medical Equipment. The hyperbaric chapter had relatively minor changes for clarity.
