3、ph Reference: 24.1Subject: Spacing requirements on a semiconductor deviceDECISION:24.1 Spacings between live parts of opposite polarity, between live and dead metal parts, and betweenlive parts and a metal enclosure, shall be as specified in Table 24.1 or Table 24.2, as appropriate. If a livepart is

4、 not rigidly secured in position by a means other than friction between surfaces, or if a movable deadmetal part is in proximity to an uninsulated live part, the construction shall be such that at least theminimum spacings will be maintained.Exception No. 1: Spacings between traces on a printed-wiri

5、ng board need not comply with Tables 24.1and 24.2 if the printed-wiring board complies with the abnormal operation test in 39.8. See also 22.3. Therequirements specified in 22.3 and 39.8 do not substitute for the minimum required spacings between theprinted-wiring board foils and dead metal parts or

6、 the spacings between the primary and secondary foilsof the printed-wiring board as specified in Table 24.1 or 24.2.Exception No. 2: This requirement does not apply to a unit complying with the requirements in 24.5 24.9.Exception No. 3: This requirement does not apply to inherent spacings of a compo
