IEEE develops its standards through a consensus development process, approved by the American National Standards Institute, which brings together volunteers representing varied viewpoints and interests to achieve the final product. Volunteers are not necessarily

While IEEE administers the process and establishes rules to promote fairness in the consensus development process, IEEE does not independently evaluate, test, or verify the accuracy of any of the information contained in its standards. Use of IEEE Sta

IEEE documents are made available for use subject to important notices and legal disclaimers (see http:/standards.ieee.org/IPR/disclaimers.html for more information). IEC collaborates closely with IEEE in accordance with conditions determined by agreement betwee

This Dual Logo International Standard was originally an IEEE standard that was adopted by the IEC and has been jointly revised by the IEC and IEEE under the terms of that agreement. 2) The formal decisions of IEC on technical matters express, as nearly as possible, an intern

The formal decisions of IEEE on technical matters, once consensus within IEEE Societies and Standards Coordinating Committees has been reached, is dete

Final approval of the IEEE standards document is given by the IEEE Standards Association (IEEE-SA) Standards Board. 3) IEC/IEEE Publications have the form of recommendations for int

While all reasonable efforts are made to ensure that the technical content of IEC/IEEE Publications is accurate, IEC or IEEE cannot be held responsible for the way in which they are used or for any misinterpreta

Any divergence between any IEC/IEEE Publicati

Independent certification bodies provide conformity assessment services and, in some areas, access to IEC marks of conformity. IEC and IEE

This second edition cancels and replaces the first edition published in 2001 and constitutes a technical revision. The main changes with respect to the previous edition are as fo
21、llows: a) The new edition allows single file format (with extension .CFF) in lieu of four separate files. b) The single file with .CFF extension contains four sections of information corresponding to .CFG, .INF, .HDR, and .DAT. The DAT section is either in ASCII or Binary. c) The following additiona
22、l data file types are also supported: binary32 (using 4 bytes to represent integer numbers) and float32 (using 4 bytes to represent real numbers). d) The conguration (.CFG) le/section has been modied. Four new fields have been added at the end of the .CFG file/section in two separate lines. Two fiel
23、ds represent the time information and the time difference between local and UTC time, and these two fields comprise one line. Another two fields represent the time quality of samples and comprise the last line of the file/section. e) Some of the fields in the Conguration (.CFG) le/section have been
24、designated critical instead of non-critical. f) The use of Unicode UTF-8 characters has been added. However and because of the extensive use of the terms ASCII and Text throughout this document, any occurrence of these terms also inherently implies Unicode UTF-8.
