12、9 First article testing for alternate finishes. Two alternate surface finishes are allowed for the cover support. When the contractor uses the paint over phosphate finish cover support submission quantities and inspection shall be in accordance with para 4.3.1 and Table I. When the contractor uses t
13、he alternate zinc plate finish in lieu of supplying 10 phosphated cover supports and 10 zinc plated cover supports he will supply a quantity of 20 zinc plated parts. After-examination for defects 10 of these will be subjected to adhesions tests and 10 to corrosion resistance tests. The margins of th
14、is amendment are marked with an asterisk or vertical line to indicate where changes (additions, modifications, corrections, deletions) from the previous amendment were made.
