4、pecification. 3.2 Mechanical properties. 3.2.1 Mechanical properties in the direc- tion of extrusion or drawing shall conform to the requirements of table II. 3.3 Tolerances. For material having a nominal weight of less than 1 pound per lineal foot: one sample shall be selected for the fist 500 pounds os fraction thereof, and an
7、additional sample for each additional 1,000 pounds or fraction thereof. For ma- tesial having a nominal weight of l pound OP more per lineal foot: one sample shall be selected for the first 500 feet OF fraction thereof, and an additional sample for each additional 1,000 feet or fraction thereof. 4.3
8、 Test methods. 4.3.1 Examination of product. Each piece of tube shall be ca.refully examined to de- termine conformance with this specification with respect to workmanship. Sufficient spot checks shall be made to insure con- formance to the tolerances specified. On ap- proval of the procuring activi
9、ty, a system of statistical quality control may be used for dimensional and woi-kmanship examina- tion. 4.3.2 Chemical analysis. Chemical analysis shall be made by wet chemical or spectro- graphic methods. In case of dispute, the chemical analysis by wet chemical methods shall be the basis fos accep

No. 151, 4.4 Packaging, packing, and marking shall be inspected for conformance with the re- quirements of 3.4 and section 5
11、. 5. PREPARATION FOR DELIVERY 5.1 The definitions and applications of the levels of packaging and packing shall be in accordance with Standard Fed. Std. No, 102. 5.2 Preservation, packaging, and packing, Unless otherwise specified, all material shall be preserved and packaged, and packed in accosdan
12、ce with Specification MIL-A-20695 (see 6.2). 5.2.1 When the levels of packaging and packing aye not specified, the material shall be packaged and packed in accordance with level C sequirements of Specification MIL 5.3 Marking for shipment. In addition to any special marking sequired in the contract
13、or order, marking for shipment shall be in accordance with Standard MILSTD-129. The shipment marking nomenclature shall be as follows: Tube, Aluminum Alloy -*, Square, *Alloy to be entered by the contractor *Temper to be entered by the contractor *Extruded or drawn to be entered by the A-20695.
