1、Designation: C 410 60 (Reapproved 2003)Standard Specification forIndustrial Floor Brick1This standard is issued under the fixed designation C 410; the number immediately following the designation indicates the year oforiginal adoption or, in the case of revision, the year of last revision. A number

2、in parentheses indicates the year of last reapproval. Asuperscript epsilon (e) indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval.1. Scope1.1 This specification covers brick made from clay or shaleor mixtures thereof and are suitable for surfacing industrialfloors. Ceramic shapes kn

Four types of industrial floor brick arecovered (Note 1):1.1.1 Type TFor use where a high degree of resistance tothermal and mechanical shock is required but low absorption isnot required.1.1.2 Type HFor use where resistance to chemicals andth

Brick of this typeare normally characterized by very limited thermal and limitedmechanical (impact) shock resistance but are highly resistant toabrasion.NOTE 1Discussion of Types of Floor BrickThe four types of brickincluded in this specification

6、are designed to cover the diverse needs ofmany industries for floor units. Recognizing that the requirements ofprimary aluminum producers for floor brick are quite different from thoseof chemical manufacturers, and similarly, that the needs of a builder forbrick with which to pave an airport termina

7、l building may vary consid-erably from those of food processing plants, for example, a minimum offour brick types has been deemed necessary. The factors of absorption andchemical resistance have been selected as the bases for the classificationsystem.1.2 The values stated in inch-pound units are to
