Scope1.1 This specification covers the composition and

3、physical properties for perlite thermal insulation board used principally abovestructural roof decks and as a base for built-up, modified, and elastomeric membrane roofing in building construction.1.2 The use of When adopted by an authority having jurisdiction, codes that address fire properties in

Materials and Manufacture6.1 CompositionThe basic material of the insulation board shall be pe

19、rlite expanded by the application of heat to form glassy,cellular aggregates. The insulation and cover board shall be composed of expanded perlite and fibers formed into rigid, flat,rectangular units with a suitable sizing material incorporated in the product. It is possible that the nominal thickness will fall outside the thicknesses shown in 7.1. See 8.1 for tolerances.7.1.2 Insulation

Rejection13.1 Failure to conform to any of the requirements of this specification shall constitute ground

In case ofrejection, the seller shall have the right to reinspect the rejected shipment and resubmit the lot after removal of that portion notconforming to the specified requirements.14. Packaging and Package Marking14.1 PackagingUnless otherwise specified, boards shall be packaged

37、in the manufacturers standard commercial containers.Special packaging shall be provided when agreed to in writing between purchaser and seller.14.2 MarkingUnless otherwise specified, each container shall be plainly marked with the suppliers name, address, telephonenumber, board dimensions, quantity,

38、 and the coverage area per container. Additional marking shall be provided when agreed to inwriting between purchaser and seller.15.
