Scope1.1 This specification covers requirements and test methodsfor the material and properties of solid plastic shapes manu-factured from UHMW-PE.1.2 The properties included in this specification are thoserequired for the compositions covere
4、d and are derived frommolded samples or fabricated from sheet, rod and profiles.Requirements necessary to identify particular characteristicsimportant to specialized applications may be described byusing the classification system given in Section 4.1.3 This specification allows for the use of recycl

Physical Property Requirements5.1 The data listed within this specifications tables are to beconsidered minimum values. Any requirement for specific testdata for a given pr
29、oduction lot should be specified at the timeof order. All physical property data listed in TableS-UHMW-PE shall be provided by the supplier of the solidplastic shapes on demand. Physical property data for productsnot yet included in Table S-UHMW-PE may be specified usingTable A for UHMW-PE solid pla
30、stic shapes.6. Dimensional Requirements6.1 Products shall be supplied in the unfinished condition,unless otherwise specified at the time of order, sufficient tofinish to the nominal dimension ordered.7. Workmanship, Finish, and Appearance7.1 AppearanceThe color of products shall be as pub-lished by
31、the manufacturer, within commercial tolerances.They shall be uniform in color throughout the thickness.Specific colors and color matching only as agreed to by order.Physical properties may be affected by colors.7.2 FinishAll products shall have a finish consistent withcurrent manufacturing processes
32、.8. Sampling8.1 Sampling shall be statistically adequate to satisfy therequirements of this standard.9. Number of Tests9.1 The criteria listed in these product tables and definitionsare sufficient to establish conformity of the sheet to thisspecification. When the number of test specimens is not sta
33、tedin the test method, single determination may be made. If morethan single determinations and separate portions of the samesample are made, the results shall be averaged. The final resultshall conform to the requirements prescribed in this specifica-tion.10. Test Conditions10.1 Conditioning of Spec
