A
2、 number in parentheses indicates the year of last reapproval. Asuperscript epsilon (e) indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval.1. Scope1.1 This specification establishes requirements and charac-teristics of low energy airgun projectiles which help definewhether a low ener
3、gy airgun projectile is suitable for use in thesport commonly called airsoft, air soft, or soft air. Furthermore, the specification establishes minimum warning and packagelabeling to help ensure that the low energy airgun projectilesare used in a safe manner and that the risk of injury is reduced.1.2
4、 LimitationsThis specification does not cover the fol-lowing categories of projectiles: Projectiles covered by Con-sumer Safety Specification F 590 (non-powder guns projec-tiles), Specification F 1979 (paintballs), Specification F 2573,and Specification F 2574; liquid filled or metallic projectiles,
