1、 AMERICAN NATIONAL STANDARD FOR TELECOMMUNICATIONS ATIS-1000638.1999(R2015) B-ISDN ATM Adaptation Layer Service Specific Coordination Function for Support of Signaling at the User-to-Network Interface (SSCF at the UNI) As a leading technology and solutions development organization, ATIS brings toget

These priorities follow a fast-track development lifecycle from design and innovation through solutions that include standards, specifications, requirements, business use cases, software toolkits, and interoperability testing. 17、 the UNI, which is used to mapthe service of the Service Specific Connection Oriented Protocol (SSCOP) to theneeds of the UNI layer 3 protocol (e.g., ITU-T (formerly CCITT) RecommendationQ.2931). This function is called Service Specific Coordination Function (SSCF) forsignalling at the UNI.The ATM A

18、daptation Layer (AAL) is defined to enhance the services provided by theATM layer to support the functions required by the next higher layer. Different AALssupport various protocols to suit the different needs of a range of AAL service users. One particular type of AAL service user is the signalling

19、AAL (SAAL) comprises AALfunctions necessary to support such a signalling entity. The structure of the SAAL isdefined in ITU-T Recommendation Q.2100. The SAAL is divided into two sublayers:a Common Part Convergence Sublayer (CPCS) and a Service Specific ConvergenceSublayer (SSCS). The common part pro

21、 Coordination Function (SSCF). The SSCOP is defined in draft ITU-TRecommendation Q.2110.The SSCF at the UNI performs a coordination function between the service requiredby the signalling layer 3 (Q.2931) user and the service provided by SSCOP. This rec-ommendation describes for the SSCF at the UNI t
