National foreword This standard has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 227 “Road materials” (Secretariat: DIN, Germany). The re

5、sponsible German body involved in its preparation was the Normenausschuss Bauwesen (Building and Civil Engineering Standards Committee), Working Committee NA 005-10-10 AA Asphalt. Amendments This standard differs from DIN EN 12697-24:2007-10 as follows: a) in Clause 1 “Scope”, it is clarified that t

6、ests using different failure criteria are not comparable; b) the definition of conventional criteria of fatigue for constant force has been deleted, leaving just constant displacement; c) the definitions of the average and standard deviations of the fatigue life of a series of specimens for the two-

7、point and four-point bending tests on prismatic specimens have been deleted; d) the symbols for the frequency of the sinusoidal load applications and angular speed have been modified; e) the requirements on age and drying of specimens have been moved from the annexes to the main text; f) the limits

8、of interpolation have been defined; g) an alternative criterion is given in a note; h) the requirement for checking (rather than calibration of) the test equipment has been moved from the annexes to the main text; i) a requirement has been added for the test report to include information on the test

9、 method, testing equipment, checking of the testing equipment and the age of the specimen at the time of testing; j) the tolerance for the displacement of the trapezoidal specimen has been extended; k) the measurements in the three-point bending test on prismatic specimens now start after fewer cycl

10、es; l) a note has been added on rotating the specimen in the four-point bending test on prismatic specimens; m) the optional requirement for choosing a frequency spectrum of initial complex (stiffness) moduli has been removed from the four-point bending test on prismatic specimens; n) the principle,

25、2-08 EN 12697-24:2012 (E) 4 Foreword This document (EN 12697-24:2012) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 227 “Road materials”, the secretariat of which is held by DIN. This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical text or

26、by endorsement, at the latest by November 2012, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by November 2012. Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent rights. CEN and/or CENELEC shall not be held responsible

27、 for identifying any or all such patent rights. This document supersedes EN 12697-24:2004+A1:2007. The main changes with respect to the previous edition are as follows: clarification in the scope that tests using different failure criteria are not comparable; definition of conventional criteria of f

28、atigue for constant force deleted, leaving just constant displacement; definitions of the average and standard deviation of the fatigue life of a series of specimens for the two-point and four-point bending tests on prismatic specimens removed; symbols for the frequency of the sinusoidal load applic

29、ations and angular speed revised; requirements on age and drying of specimens added in the main text and removed from the individual annexes; limits on interpolation defined; alternative criterion given in a note; requirement for checking (rather than calibration of) the test equipment added in the
