3、ference to MIL-C-43479. Abstract. This Commercial Item Description covers one type and six classes of polyester and cotton blended cloth. The cloth is intended for use in the manufacture of shirtwaists, shirts and lining material for sleeping bags. Classification. The cloth shall be in the following
4、 types and classes: - 2.8 to 3.6 oz/yd2 Type 1 Class 1 - White 3024 Class 2 - Dyed Class 3 - Dyed and treated with a durable press finish Class 4 - White 3024 treated with a durable press Class 5 - Dyed and water repellant treated Class 6 - Dyed, water repellant and downproof treated finish Type II
5、- 3.2 to 3.7 oz/yd2, end to end construction Class 3 - Dyed Description. Unless otherwise specified, the finished cloth shall be a minimum of 60 inches inclusive of selvage when fly shuttle looms or shuttleless with tuck-in selvage looms are used. The finished cloth shall contain 65 2 5% polyester and Color. The color of the finished cloth shall be White 3024 f
9、or Type I, Classes 1 and 4. The cloth shall be fully bleached and may be supplemented with fluorescent optical brightener to the blue region. The color of the warp ends of the finished cloth for Type II class 3 shall be Air Force Blue 1550 and shall match the standard sample. The selvage of the clot

The dyed classes 2, 3, 5, and 6 finished cloth shall show fastness to laundering (after 3 cycles) perspiration and

During the yard-by-yard examination, each roll in the sample shall be examined for the defects listed below.
