10、information to be included O ES1 09-1999 1 scope 1.1 This part 3 of EN 12971 gives a specification for chopped srands made from continuous filament textile glass. The specification defines those parameters which are specified plus other parameters which may be specified if required for a particular
11、application or processing method 1.2 The specification does not define absolute or nominal values for any parameter. The due of a specified parameter is defined by the manufacturer but this specification defines the method of test to be used to determine the value of each specified parameter and the
12、 tolerance about which the parameter is controlled by the manufacturer. 1.3 The parameters which are always defined in any chopped smnds specification are defined in 4.1. The other parametem which are included in a specification are either nominated by the manufacturer or agreed between manufacturer
13、 and customer. These parameters are defined in 4.3.
