18、ted mandrel shall be required for this test. The diameter of the mandrel and the load weight to be used shall be given in the technical specification. 5 Method 5.1 Procedure Fix one end of the specimen to the mandrel and load the other end. Turn the mandrel at between two and three turns per minute
19、until the total length of the specimen is wound around it. Move the mandrel in the opposite direction until the total length of the specimen is wound, the compressed part in the first operation becoming the stretched part in the second. The cycle shall be performed twice. 5.2 On completion, the spec
20、imen shall pass the voltage proof test defined in EN 3475-302.
