It isderived from IEC 61121:2012. It supersedes BS EN 61121:2005 which iswi

2、thdrawn.The CENELEC common modifications have been implemented at theappropriate places in the text. The start and finish of each commonmodification is indicated in the text by tags .BSI, as a member of CENELEC, is obliged to publish EN 61121 as a BritishStandard. However, attention is drawn to the

3、fact that the UK committeevoted against its approval as a European standard. The technical reasonfor this is given below.It is the opinion of the UK committee that Annex ZB contains potentiallyconfusing information.Annex III of EU Regulation 932/2012 (ecodesign requirements forhousehold tumble drier

4、s) and Annex V of EU Regulation 392/2012(energy labelling of household tumble driers) both describe verificationprocedure for market surveillance purposes. These requirements are foruse by market surveillance authorities only; they should not be utilizedby manufacturers or other economic operators.H

5、owever, Annex ZB of this standard gives the impression thatmanufacturers should take these verification tolerances into account.Manufacturers are advised to record and report the results ofmeasurements and calculations directly without making any adjustmentsfor tolerances, as implied by Annex ZB.Whe

EN 61121:2013 includes the following signif

18、icant technical changes with respect to EN 61121:2005: a) a test procedure for a combined test sequence of full and partial load was introduced; b) a test procedure for measuring power consumption in low power modes is introduced; c) a formula to calculate the energy consumption of tumble dryers inc

19、luding low power modes was added; d) control procedures for checking measured values in comparison to values declared by the manufacturerunder consideration of permitted tolerances are updated. Clauses, subclauses, notes, tables and figures which are additional to those in IEC 61121:2012 areprefixed

This document has been prepared under a mandate given to CENELEC by the European Commission andthe European Free Trade Association, and supports essential requirements of EU Directive(s). This European Standard specifies, as far as necessary,

21、the test methods which shall be applied inaccordance with the COMMISSION DELEGATED REGULATION (EU) No 392/2012 implementing Directive2010/30/EU the European Parliament and of the Council with regard to energy labelling of household tumbledryers and in accordance with the COMMISSION REGULATION (EU) N

22、o 932/2012 implementing Directive2009/125/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council with regard to ecodesign requirements forhousehold tumble dryers. The procedures described in this European Standard were modified substantially compared to the previousversion, e.g. with regard to partial loa

23、d. Therefore, results of tests according to this standard cannot andshall not be directly compared to results of similar procedures of previous versions. In addition, results basedon a specific reference programme shall not be compared to results based on other reference programs. Annex ZA sets out

40、rmative) Test procedure for a combined test sequenceof cotton dry with full load and partial load ZA.1 General This annex sets out the procedure for the determination of performance and related parameters for full loadand for partial load for a cotton dry programme of the tumble dryer. The combined

41、test sequence to measure performance parameters is defined as a test series consisting of7 test runs with two different treatments as follows: Treatment full: 3 test runs Treatment half: 4 test runs The two low power modes (Left-on mode and Off-mode) shall be determined for treatment full. The airbo

42、rne acoustical noise shall be measured according with EN 60704-1 and EN 60704-2-6 anddetermined and verified according with EN 60704-3. ZA.2 Preparation for testing Test loads Subclause 6.5 sets out requirements for the preparation of the test loads used in the tumble dryer. All requirements of 6.4

43、shall be applied to define the full load for a test series. For the test runs with partialload, a full test load shall be split into two parts. This clause defines the splitting of a full load into the twopartial loads (part A and part B) as detailed in Table ZA.1. BS EN 61121:2013 4 BS EN 61121:201

44、3 EN 61121:2013 17 EN 61121:2013 Annex ZA (normative) Test procedure for a combined test sequenceof cotton dry with full load and partial load ZA.1 General This annex sets out the procedure for the determination of performance and related parameters for full loadand for partial load for a cotton dry

45、 programme of the tumble dryer. The combined test sequence to measure performance parameters is defined as a test series consisting of7 test runs with two different treatments as follows: Treatment full: 3 test runs Treatment half: 4 test runs The two low power modes (Left-on mode and Off-mode) shal

46、l be determined for treatment full. The airborne acoustical noise shall be measured according with EN 60704-1 and EN 60704-2-6 anddetermined and verified according with EN 60704-3.
